Georgia Gov. Kemp proclaims Nov. 5 Atlanta Braves Day

ATLANTA–Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp is honoring the Atlanta Braves for its historic win against the Houston Astros on Nov. 2, 2021 as the World Series Champions. The Braves defeated the Astros in a 7-0 shutout.

As Georgia prepares to celebrate with a big parade that is expected to draw 1 million people to downtown Atlanta and other events on Friday, Kemp is proclaiming Nov. 5 as Atlanta Braves Day. Below is the proclamation issued by Gov. Kemp:
